An Afternoon Tiffin - such lovely presentation, staff and yummy tea nibbles - thank you for a pleasant afternoon added with a few bubbles. A last minute welcome brief escape - thoroughly recommend as a essential treat …. and all calorie and sin exempt. Sincere thanks to the staff who helped - very wheelchair friendly (appreciated).

I booked a room with en suite. It's clean comfortable and the bathroom is very good. It's a bit of a climb up the stairs to the top floor. There is a parking area out back with limited parking maybe four spaces but you can park on the street. The tube station is a 10 minute strenuous walk up hill.
Nice room. Nice pub. Nice beer. Nice locals. Nice overall really, yeah.

Civilized gastropub you could take your parents to. During the day lots of yummy mummies with children in expensive clothes or pushchairs. During the evening similar vibe but husbands invited. Not absolutely welcoming if u want to turn up with a bunch of brickies, but nice attentive professional staff nonetheless.
One of my favorite spots. Really friendly staff, great food and chilled vibe.

Very cosy place, nice selection of wine, I would recommend the scallops as a starter and for the main the sea bass is delicious. Great selection of desserts to finish the evening off as well. Overall experience inside positive, the staff where accommodating and friendly. Would advise to book a table in advance during the busier periods. Parking is available just outside of the pub. The surrounding small lakes and greenery make it a very nice atmosphere and I would recommend to friends and family.
It was Father's day when I visited so the place was crowded. However, from what I heard it is almost like this all the time. And to be honest tgere is reason for this. The food is really great . I tasted something called Trio of roasted meet. It was delicious. My spouse ordered soup of the day ... well this was kind of disappointing. But I don't think we have tasted a good soup in UK. So this was not unexpected. There is also garden where you can sit and a small lake next to it. Lovely place! Definitely worth the time.
