Local Food and Drink

Caffè Nero

128 High St, Barnet EN5 5XQ, UK – 020 8441 9088

Coffee is good and a good selection of cakes and pastry available. The seating is comfortable and there is a special away from the street play area for children and it is also a dog friendly cafe. Staff are also friendly and helpful.

Good coffee, nice place to sit down and enjoy coffee break. Stuff should be more friendly.

The Co-operative Food

187 Mays Ln, Barnet EN5 2DY, UK – 020 8440 6645

Good service. Good opening times

Helpful staff. A bit pricey compared to major stores.

Co-op Food - East Barnet - East Barnet Road

233 E Barnet Rd, London, Barnet EN4 8SS, UK – 020 8440 0259

Prefer this shop to Sainsbury’s. At the moment there’s not a lot on the shelf but when I asked a staff member she gladly had the time to explain to me what was going wrong and was very apologetic. Will continue to shop here 👍🏼

A good place to shop, but there should always be at least two staff members serving at the counter to reduce queues, as not everyone is keen on the self-service check outs.

BigBarn has a totally brilliant map for Hertfordshire showing all the local food producers. So if you want to know where your food comes from look no further!
The Kent & Sussex Tea and Coffee Company was established 26 years ago when the Smith family returned from India, where for two generations we had been involved with tea. The website contains information about all the different teas and coffees supplied together with regular updates on new additions to the range.
Coffee, tea, chocolates and pretty china and good gift ideas.
